SSC Stenographer Recruitment 

Staff Selection Commission invites online application form regarding the recruitment of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ to fill up various vacancies. SSC will hold an online examination to shortlist the candidates and it would be likely to held on 05.05.2020 to 07.05.2020. The SSC Steno Group C and D test will be totally computer-based and eligible candidates are invited to submit online applications on or before 18.10.2019.

Only skilled aspirants will be hired who will qualify the Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for recruitment of Stenographer. SSC Stenographer Group C and D Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to have a nationality/citizenship of India, Nepal, Bhutan and must have passed a 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Applicants of Stenographer Grade C need to have their age 18 to 30 years as on 01.01.2020 however for Stenographer Grade D the age requirement is 18 to 27 years as on 01.01.2020.

Age relaxation has been given to reserved categories and Age-relaxation permissible beyond the upper age limit is 05 years, 03 years, 10 years, 13 years and 15 years for SC/ST, OBC, PwD (Unreserved), PwD (OBC) and PwD (SC/ ST).

Candidates who meet with the prescribed eligibility conditions have to visit the official website of Staff  Selection  Commission (SSC) that is and read the detailed instructions to apply online. Applicants must submit their final application on or before 18.10.2019 (17:00). One more important thing for the applicants is that they have to pay a fee of Rs.100/- against the application. It can be paid online up to 20.10.2019 (17:00) or through challan of SBI, during working hours of Bank on or before 22.10.2019. Aspirants who opt for offline Challan must generate it on or before 20.10.2019 (17.00).
