Indian Coast Guard Navik Recruitment
Candidates who want to join the Indian Coast Guard have a wonderful career opportunity as Navik (General Duty) 10+2 Entry. Aspirants may submit their online form from 26 August to 01 September 2019. All Indian nationals are invited to apply for recruitment to the post of Navik (General Duty) in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.
Aspirants need to have 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from a recognized board with minimum 50% aggregate marks. A minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years age restrictions for the applicants i.e. born between 01 Feb 1998 to 31 Jan 2002 (both dates inclusive). The upper age relaxation of 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC candidates.
The shortlisted candidates will be called for a test which is planned during the month of Sep-Oct 2019.
Those who qualify written test will undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT). The PFT consists of:-
- 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes.
- 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak).
- 10 Push up.
A medical examination will be conducted before final appointment.
Salary & other benefits
Candidates will be placed in basic pay of Rs.21700/- (pay level -3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances.
