Indian Air Force invites online applications from Indian nationals regarding the Indian Air Force Airmen Recruitment 2019 to fill up various vacancies of Airmen in Group X and Group Y trades. The unmarried male candidates who satisfy the requisite eligibility criteria can apply for Group X/Y online exam from 02 January To 21 January 2019. The Airmen online exam will be held from 14 March To 17 March 2019. The selection of the candidates is for Intake: 01/2020.
Indian Air Force Airmen Group X Recruitment 2019
Airmen Group X hiring is for technical trades (Except Education Instructor Trade) and the work involves basically on the field like maintenance and testing of various types of equipment. The aspirants who are having technical education can apply for Airmen Group X Recruitment.
Indian Air Force Airmen Group Y Recruitment 2019
Indian Air Force Airmen Group Y hiring is for the non-technical group and most of the work involves like assistance and support to the various department in AirForce. The aspirants from the non-technical background can prefer to apply for Airmen Group Y Recruitment.
Indian Air Force Airmen Eligibility Criteria
As we defined above the Airmen recruitment is for Technical Trades and Non – Technical Trades. The educational qualification may differ which is provided below.
- Required Educational Qualification for Airmen Group X:
The aspirants need to have passed the 12th or /equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English with minimum 50% marks. Or Three years Diploma Course in Engineering in any stream.
- Required Educational Qualification for Airmen Group Y:
Candidates with 12th passed certification in any stream but 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 50% marks for Group Y Medical Assistant Trade Only.
Age Limit for Airmen
The aspirants should born between 19 January 1999 and 01 January 2003 (both days inclusive). If a candidate selected then the maximum age limit as on date of enrolment is 21 years.
Salary of Airmen in Indian Air Force
The appointed candidate as Airmen Rs. 14,600/- per month during the training period with admissible benefits.
- Airmen Group X Salary: 33,100/- per month with applicable DA.
- Airmen Group Y Salary: 26,900/- per month plus Dearness allowance.
Airmen Selection Criteria
Phase 1: The Online test will be held for both Group X and Y trades which may comprises 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness.
Phase 2: The aspirants who will pass the examination will be issued an admit card and they have to report at the assigned center with all the requisite documents for the verification.
Phase 3: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) would consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed within 06 minutes 30 seconds and 10 Push-ups,10 Sit-ups and 20 Squats within the given time.
Phase 4: An Adaptability Test will be conducted (For both Group ‘ X’ & Group ‘Y’ Trades) who will qualify the PFT.
Phase 5: The candidates will be checked as per Mandatory Medical Standards (For both Group ‘ X’ & Group ‘Y’ Trades).
Phase 6: Provisional Select List (PSL) will be released after the completion of all phases of the selection process which will have the name of selected candidates.
Indian Air Force Airman Group X/Y Online Application Form 2019
The eligible candidates will have to make an online registartion through official website of Airmen selection board that is www.airmenselection.cdac.in or www.careerindianairforce.cdac.in. Thereafter applicants can submit their online application form from 02 January 2019 to 21 January 2019. Candidates may keep a printout after successful submission of application.
Indian Air Force Airmen Result
The Indian Air Force will relase the Airmen Group X and Group Y trade results after preparing the merit list of selected candidates. The aspirants who will have their name in result list will be called for enrolement. The enrolement list will be published on 10 December 2019 at the official website.
