Air Force Common Admission Online Test (AFCAT- 01/2019)
Indian Air Force has issued a notification regarding AFCAT 2019 examination for the engagement of eligible and energetic candidates. The selected aspirants will be enroled for Flying Branch and Ground Duties (Technical And Non-Technical)/ NCC Special Entry.
AFCAT 2019 Exam Dates
The AFCAT exam will be conducted online on 6 February 2019 and 17 February 2019. The course for selected candidates will be started in January 2020.
Candidates who fulfill AFCAT exam eligibility criteria can submit their online application form on or before 30 December 2018. Note: PC is Permanent Commision, SSC is Short Service Commision and AE is Aeronautical Engineer.
AFCAT Exam Eligibility Criteria 2019
The applicants must be Indian national and requisite educational criteria is followed as:
|Flying||12th pass in Maths and Physics with a minimum of 60% marks and a graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum 60% marks.|
|Ground Duty (Technical)||12th pass in Physics and Mathematics with minimum 60% marks and a degree in Engineering/ Technology.|
|Ground Duty (Non-Technical)||Graduate Degree in any discipline for Administration& Logistics, B.Com Degree for Accounts, MBA/ MCA or MA/ MSc degree for education.|
|NCC Special Entry||NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate, 12th pass in Maths and Physics and Graduation in any field.|
|Meteorology||Post Graduate Degree in relevant field|
AFCAT Age Limit
- For Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry: 20 to 24 years as on 01 Jan 2020
- For Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch: 20 to 26 years as on 01 Jan 2020
Note: The aspirants below the age of 25 years must be unmarried.
How to Submit AFCAT 2019 Exam Online Application Form
The eligible candidates who want to apply for the examination may visit the official website of the Indian Air Force that is https://careerindianairforce.cdac.in, or https://afcat.cdac.in.
Applicants must have their Aadhaar Card to make an online registration. The aspirants have to make an online registration to create a login id and password.
Thereafter login with the help of generated credentials and select the desired entry which you want to apply. Read all the provided information and fill the online application form.
Applicants have to upload scanned copies of Photo, Signature & Thumb Impression.
After the final submission of online application form print the acknowledgment for future use.
AFCAT Entry Exam Fee
Aspirants have to pay exam fee after filling the online form. An amount of Rs.250/- for AFCAT entry need to be paid but there is no fee for NCC special entry and Meteorology branch.
